The General Overseer of the Sword of the Spirit Ministry and the Prelate of Calvary Grace International College of Bishops in Nigeria, His Eminence, Bishop Francis Wale Oke has challenged Nigerian women to rise up to their complementary role in church administration and in managing other affairs in all strata of our society, saying it was time the Nigerian women braced up and shine to declare the glory of God.

The renowned cleric made the declaration during the ordination of Dr. (Mrs.) Funke ltunu Felix-Adejumo as a Bishop of the Agape Christian Asembly, with headquarters in Akure,Ondo State.

He said: “The message is for the women all over the world, in Christ Jesus, there is neither male or female. There is nothing God is using a man to do that He cannot use a woman to do. So, women, rise up and shine, it is your time.

He described Lady Bishop Funke Adejumo as a gem, a woman of dignity, honour and character committed to evangelism and the pure teaching of the word of God.

While praying for her during her official conservation as a Bishop, Oke said she will shine brighter, fulfill her destiny and finish well”.

The newly ordained Lady Bishop Funke Adejumo adding, said, “Women should no longer be seen as inferior. We are also not in competition with men. We are called to support and complement them, whether in marriage or in our individual pursuits. Every woman has the potential to be impactful and be a blessing, regardless of her marital status.”

“Women are not inferior at all and we are not in any competitions with the men. The men are the head and God has raised us to support them.

“Whether you are married or you are not married, you have to make impact. So, no woman is inferior according to Job 12:3. What men know l know. I am not inferior. We are just completing each other”, she said.

The husband of the newly ordained Lady Bishop, Bishop Felix Remi Adejumo while responding to questions from journalists extolled the virtues of his wife, saying,
