AUOMMATON Praises Tinubu’s Reforms, Infrastructure Push, and Bright 2027 Prospects

Engr. Dr. Oseni Suleiman, National President of the Amalgamated Union of Motor Mechanics and Technicians of Nigeria (AUOMMATON), has praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration for its bold economic, infrastructural, and institutional reforms.
In a statement from Abuja, Dr. Suleiman reviewed the government’s progress since taking office, highlighting how the reform agenda is steering Nigeria toward sustainable growth, higher productivity, and global competitiveness.
He commended the President’s resolve in tackling deep-rooted economic issues with policies that promise long-term prosperity and stability, despite short-term challenges.
Dr. Suleiman spotlighted the administration’s sweeping infrastructure initiatives—one of the most ambitious in years—including road construction, highway upgrades, transport corridor expansions, and logistics investments. These efforts are boosting connectivity, easing goods movement, and sparking productivity in key sectors.
“For our members in automotive and technical services, better roads mean more demand for repairs, smoother operations, and fresh economic opportunities,” he noted.
He also applauded education reforms emphasizing technical and vocational training to build a skilled workforce for industrial growth. Economic measures—like fiscal tweaks, revenue boosts, and transparent finance management—are rebuilding investor trust and drawing local and foreign capital.
While recognizing policy-related hardships, Dr. Suleiman pointed to recovery signs in transportation, small industries, and auto services—core areas for union members.
He gave special kudos to Nigeria Revenue Service (NRS) Chairman Dr. Zacch Adedeji for transformative revenue reforms, including efficiency gains, better compliance, and innovative strategies that fuel government income and development.
“Dr. Adedeji’s leadership is exceptional, professional, and vital to the administration’s economic success,” Dr. Suleiman said.
Looking ahead, he predicted strong public support for the government in the 2027 elections, driven by consistent policies and tangible progress. Still, he urged deeper ties with informal sector workers like artisans and technicians for inclusive benefits, plus ongoing vocational training, modern tools, and youth empowerment.
AUOMMATON reaffirmed its dedication to national growth, backing policies for jobs, reforms, and infrastructure.
