The Federal College of Education, Ilawe-Ekiti will formally welcome its newest sets of students at the 2025/2026 Matriculation Ceremony slated for Thursday, 18th June, 2026.
The Head of Protocol, Information and Public Relations of the Institution, Mrs Temilola Mercy Ajide stated the above in a press release signed and made public on Thursday.
The event marks the official induction of fresh Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) I students into the College community, signaling the start of their academic pursuit and quest for excellence.

Acting Provost of the College, Dr. Abdulmumin Isah will deliver the keynote address to the matriculating students, while the Registrar, Dr. Khadijah Wuraola Garba will administer the matriculation oath. The ceremony is set to be a vibrant and memorable occasion.
The new NCE I students have been admitted across six departments within three Schools: the School of Education; Early Childhood Care and Primary Education; the School of Languages, Arts and Social Sciences; and the School of Sciences, Vocational and Technical Education.

The College also runs specialized Directorates to strengthen students’ practical training and academic growth.
Matriculating students and their guests are to be seated at the College Auditorium by 9:00 a.m. prompt.
