Oyo PDP Stakeholder Congratulates Governor Seyi Makinde For Second Term Victory

A prominent People’s Democratic Party, PDP, stakeholder in Oyo State, Aare Akinkunmi Akinyemi has congratulated the incumbent Governor of Oyo State, Engineer Seyi Makinde for his second term election victory at the last Saturday  Governorship and House of Assembly election held in the State.

Aare Akinkunmi in a press release signed and sent to Treasure Newspaper hailed the victory of the incumbent Governor Seyi Makinde who was re-elected for a second term in office as the Governor of Oyo State.

Akinkunmi while speaking further equally congratulated the incumbent Governor of Oyo State for the overwhelming victory he was able to record in the House of Assembly election that took place side by side with his own re-election in the State last Saturday. 

Aare Akinkunmi Akinyemi, a PDP stalwart in ibadan, Oyo State in his press release expressed how elated he was, to be able to deliver his polling Units in his Constituency for the newly re-elected Governor Of Oyo State State, Governor Seyi Makinde.

According to Akinkunmi, he said, “previously, there are three units in my area until it was increased to six units. I thanked God that I was able to maximally delivered all the six units for Governor Seyi Makinde and the State House of Assembly Candidate representing my area”, he revealed.

Continuing, “Akinkunmi explained that, in one of the units, precisely at Unit two, where he casted his own vote, he was able to garner a total votes of 85 for his party, the PDP, while the major opposition party in the State scored a total of 25 votes whereas the Accord scored 4 votes. 

He went further to State that, “for the State House of Assembly election in his Constituency, his party, the PDP scored  80 votes, APC scored 30 votes while  Accord scored 3 votes”. 

Offering his prayers for Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State, Akinkunmi prayed to God to give him more wisdom and strength to reciprocate the great love shown to him at the polls by the great people of Ibadan South East local government and the people of Oyo State in general.

It would be recalled that Aare Akinkunmi Akinyemi, a strong member of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, in Oyo State contested as an aspirant at the last party primary in the State. 

He equally used the opportunity to congratulate Barrister Bayo Lawal for his re-election as the Deputy Governor of Oyo State.
