Fabunmi Leads PVC Push in Oye LGA to Back Oyebanji’s Re-Election

Elected candidate for the House of Assembly for Oye-Ekiti State Constituency 1, Honourable Fabunmi Eyitayo under the All Progressives Congress (APC) has led a push for the collection of the Permanent Voters Card (PVC) in Oye local government as part of his effort working tirelessly for the re-election of Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji for second time in office.

Honorable Fabunmi Eyitayo’s effort received a boost over the weekend when he led dialogue sessions he organized for persons with disabilities from Oye Constituency 1 and 2 as well as separately with student leaders across the entire Oye local government area.

Both engagements of persons with disabilities and students leaders also focused on grassroots mobilization for BAO’s gubernatorial bid.

Also, rising from the stakeholder’s meeting, Honourable Fabunmi Eyitayo equally led his team to the officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to observe how the handling of the Permanent Voters Card distribution were been carried out in Oye local government area.

Addressing the INEC officials, Fabunmi commended the electoral officials and encourage them further to sustain their service delivery.

The monitoring of the collection of the PVC continues on Monday.

Organizers say the effort aims to boost morale for both officials and residents, and to drive mass PVC collection before the June 20 polls.

Stakeholders called the outreach part of a wider drive to ensure eligible voters in Oye LGA are ready to participate on election day.
