Ondo Information Commissioner, Akinlosotu Visits Media Houses In Akure

… Seeks For Support, Collaboration

The Honourable Commissioner for Information and Orientation in Ondo State, Mr Wale Akinlosotu has visited media houses in Akure, the Ondo State Capital seeking for support and collaborations to better the society and promote peace and good governance in the State.

During the media tour, the Honourable Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Mr Wale Akinlosotu interfaced with Management and staff of media outfits within Akure metropolis and environs.

The Media houses visited includes Fresh FM, Breeze FM, Positive FM, Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), Adaba FM, OSRC Media Group and Owena Press (Hope Newspaper).

While pledging government patronage to all media stations in the state without any form of bias, he appreciated media executives in the state for their support to government in the past and assured them of a new dawn in terms of robust collaboration and engagement.

Fielding questions on the current hardship in the country, the commissioner pleaded for patience on the part of citizens and residents of the state, saying that the Aiyedatiwa administration will not tolerate selfishness and greed.

While assuring of better days ahead, Mr Akinlosotu noted that despite the current electioneering in the air, governance will not suffer.

Responding, the Chairman and Managing Director of Owena Press, Sir Ademola Adetula, represented by the Editor, Pastor Akin Adubuola noted that the company has had to manage crucial challenges to stay afloat.

Also, receiving the Commissioner, the GM of NTA, Mrs Olubunmi Oke, the GM of FRCN Positive 102.5 FM, Mrs Olubunmi Olalere as well as their Breeze 91.1 FM counterpart, Mr. Sunday Ajongbolo assured the visitor of their readiness to partner with the state government.

The General Manager of Adaba 88.9 FM, Sir Martins Ayoola promised that the station will go extra mile to support the Aiyedatiwa government on account of the existing cordial relationship between the state government and the station.

The former Local government boss was also warmly received by the Management teams of OSRC Media Group and Fresh 102.9 FM where he featured live and enunciated the good works of the Aiyedatiwa administration.

They however made known their requests to government which the Commissioner promised to forward to the State Governor for attention.

The Commissioner for Information and Orientation was accompanied on the tour by the Administrative Secretary and other Management staff of the Ministry.

The third leg of the media tour will later take the Commissioner to Crest 106.1 FM, Glow 99.1 FM and other media outfits outside Akure, the state capital.
