The Police Service Commission (PSC), partnering with the Nigeria Police Force (NPF), has scheduled the written examination for Police Constable recruits—both General Duty and Specialist categories—from April 28th to 30th, 2026.

Torty Njoku Kalu, Head of Protocol and Public Affairs (Spokesman) for the Police Service Commission, has confirmed the details in a statement, noting that exams will occur at designated centers across all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

Eligibility is limited to candidates who passed the physical and credentials screening.

Qualified applicants must visit www.npfapplication.psc.gov.ng starting from Friday, April 24, 2026, to download and print their Examination Invitation Card, which details the exact date, time, and venue.

Items required on exam day include a pen, National Identification Number (NIN) slip from NIMC (with clear photo), and the printed Examination Invitation Card. Candidates must adhere to the dress code: white shorts, white T-shirt, and white canvas.
