Renowned popular Evangelist and Prophet, Sam Olu Alo has scolded corrupt politicians and wealthy Nigerians over their continuous failure to assist unemployed youths and poor masses, accusing them to be adamant and deaf to corrections in the Country.

He also used the opportunity to express his desire on the need for unemployed youths to be employed for them to have a better lives for themselves.

The Christ Apostolic Church Prophet stated the above after he led guests and dignitaries to cut the tape and  commissioned the third Adamimogo 107.7FM radio station at Ido Ekiti on Saturday built by his organization, Adamimogo Global Outreach.

Prophet Sam Olu Alo while answering questions from journalists at the premises of the Adamimogo 107.7FM radio station at Ido Ekiti on Saturday, shared little about his life history and past experiences, where he explained how God showed him mercy and lifted him out of the doldrums and his childhood poverty lifestyles.

According to the Prophet, he said, “People like the Late Awolowo is a Hero. The imparts he made are what today’s politicians are building upon. Many of our Southwest Politicians extraction of today are only professing following his footsteps but their lifestyles does not reflect what he did while he was alive. Awolowo contributions such as the  Universities structures he built are still standing without falling or showing any cracks in the walls unlike the projects we see our politicians being executed today.

Adding, Prophet Alo praised the heroes for always thirst to help people. Also, he revealed that the heroes always take it as priority to develop their communities whenever the need arises.

Continuing, Prophet Alo, explained that, “there is a wide difference between the rich and an hero. He described an hero as someone who always does things that will last and speak even after his or her death”.

He berated the attitude of the Nigerian politicians and wealthy people who always hides their wealth and spending them alone with their families without showing any readiness to help anyone, most especially the poor masses and the unemployed youths in our society.

He however pointed out that he is tired talking or counseling the wealthy or rich people in Nigeria again, because he has realized that they are not ready to change their ways, stressing that the rich people in Nigeria have failed the Country.

“Our money which has stucked abroad are too many. If such money are used to established businesses in the Country, life would have been more easier for the people”.

Counselling President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Prophet Alo urged him not to take the support of Nigerians he is presenting enjoying for granted despite the tough economy hardship confronring them in the Country. He also advised him to appoint those who has the interest of the common people in Nigeria at heart and do away with those he surrounded himself with, who are only interested in siphoning the Nation’s wealth and resources and convert them into their own personal properties.

Speaking further, he told President Tinubu to pursue the unity of the country without focusing on culture, religion or tribe or the politicians and seek more prayers from Pastors and Imams for him to succeed in office.

Also, in his bid to get more youths profitably engaged, Prophet Sam Olu-Alo, has promised to establish a modern piggery where at least twenty thousand pigs will be exported from Ekiti State. He’s also proposing to have Palm tree plantations where about two hundred people will be working.

He therefore sought for 300 hectares of farmlands from three different towns, at least one hundred hectares from each town for rearing different animals and other plantations which will no doubt improve the IGR and bring more development to the state. He also said he wouldn’t mind if a town is ready to release the 300 hectares of land for the purpose.

He described kidnapping cases as very rampant situations in Nigeria because the bushes that ought to have been cleared and cultivated have remained thick forests. They are just there useless without yielding any profit to the country. That’s why everyone is hungry. Maize and cassava will also be planted in those farmlands for the benefit of the people.

The Honourable Commissioner for Information in Ekiti, Chief Taiwo Olatunbosun ably represented by the Permanent Secretary of his Ministry, Pastor Sesan Alabi noted that Ido-Ekiti is the second town in Ekiti State that is having a radio station outside the State capital, Ado-Ekiti.

The Commissioner said that the establishment of the radio station is part of the fulfillment of Ekiti State Governor, Mr. Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji’s shared prosperity agenda.

“Can you imagine the number of people that will be employed in this station? The bricklayers, the carpenters, the people who fixed windows and the people that fixed the lights. All of them got the job because this station is here.

While assuring the station of government cooperation like all other stations in the State, the Commissioner said whatever  government can do at providing security and enabling environment for the station shall be done, not only to the electronic media but also all other media in the State.

“Ekiti State subscribes to freedom of information, freedom of speech. We have never gag any press. We allow every station to follow their own agenda and we cooperate with them.

“Rather than sanction any untoward news, we counter with our beautiful news. Gagging the press is not part of Ekiti State government agenda. We shall continue to partner with all the stations towards proper information management in Ekiti. The Commissioner pledged.

Earlier, the Chairman of Nigeria Union of Journalists in Ekiti, Comrade Kayode Babatuyi  expressed great delight over the establishment of the new radio station in the State considering the high rate of unemployment in Nigeria.

According to him, “today, we are gradually having vacancies in the media sector because of people like Prophet Sam Olu-Alo. I am happy to appreciate our daddy because I have a lot of my members that have been employed by the Prophet and today, they are doing well.

“Not just because they have been given employment alone but because they have also been given a better welfare package that is not comparable anywhere in Nigeria.

The occasion was well graced by  religious leaders, royal fathers, media practitioners, friends and family of the founder, Prophet Sam Olu-Alo.
