Ekiti: Youths Seek Government’s Intervention To Recover Funds From Yemisi Samuel Joluwe

Some concerned youths in Ekiti State is seeking the intervention of the Ekiti State Government under the leadership of Governor Biodun Oyebanji to recover funds allegedly collected from them by one Mrs Yemisi Samuel Joluwe, the CEO of YSJ under the guise of ‘Bring Back Youths To Agriculture Empowerment Programme’ by collecting a sum of N100,000 from several of them in the State.

The matter became a public knowledge when the woman in question, Yemisi Samuel Joluwe refused to fulfill her own promise or refund the monies collected from the youths in the State.

The development prompted some of the concerned youths who had applied for the empowerment and who committed a sum of N100,000 fees into the said Yemisi Samuel Joluwe empowerment scheme known as ‘Bring Back The Youths To Agriculture Empowerment Programme’ to raise an alarm on the treatment they received from Yemisi Samuel Joluwe, YSJ herself.

The concerned youths also protested after working tiredlessly after a period of one year at their farms with none of the promises made to them by Mrs Yemisi Samuel Joluwe, the Chief Executive Officer of YSJ failed and totally breached when the scheme refused to reward them with their expected wages and arrears.

The concerned youths also accused the YSJ CEO of failing to pay them the money promised them across some 13 local government areas of the State.

Attempts made by the youths to recover their money and get their rewards despite visiting some royal fathers and local governments Chairmen, seeking for their assistance to intervene all failed.

The described as lie the information that Mrs Yemisi Samuel Joluwe has paid them a sum of N1.4 million.

The concerned youths only confirmed to newsmen that only the sums of N25,000, N40,000, N60,000 and N150,000 were paid to few by the CEO of YSJ.

The concerned youths however called on the Ekiti State government to come to their aid, to recover the money due to them from Mrs Yemisi Samuel Joluwe, the CEO of YSJ.

Meanwhile all efforts to reach out to Mrs Yemisi Samuel Joluwe, the CEO of YSJ to get her reactions on the matter failed as several calls made to her and messages sent to her phone on both WhatsApp and as text messages were ignored and not responded to, as at the time of filing this report.
