Ekiti HOS Felicitates With Public Servants On New Year Celebrations

The Ekiti State Head of Service, Dr. Folakemi Olomojobi has expressed her felicitations to all public servants in the State for witnessing the year 2025, urging them to continue supporting the government, describing “2025 as a year of amazing grace”. 

This was contained in her remarks during the year 2025 inter-faith thanksgiving service held in Ado Ekiti to herald the commencement of government activities and programmes for the year.

The Head of Service gave special appreciation to Governor Biodun Oyebanji for providing an enabling environment for workers in the State to thrive and flourish even amidst challenging economic realities. 

She further commended the State government’s giant strides and people- oriented programmes that have impacted positively on the standard of  living of Ekiti people in line with the administration’s shared prosperity mantra.

In her own words, through a press release signed and made available to newsmen, the Director of Press in the Office of the Head Service, Mr Festus Abosede, the Head of Service, Dr Olomojobi stated without mincing words, “that the current administration in the State has demonstrated a high level  of commitment to the welfare of Ekiti people through various projects and programmes such as the provisions of basic amenities like good road networks, electricity supply as a result of critical intervention in the construction of dedicated feeder lines and new electricity grids.

She listed others to include “the provision of 24-hours electricity supply to the State Secretariat complex and all government offices within the State Capital through the Independent Power Plant, implementation of seventy thousand naira new minimum wage (N70,000) across board, prompt payment of pensions and deductions, completion of all promotion exercises across Boards, Local and International training for public servants, release of car and housing loans, primary school teachers inclusive, among others”. 

She noted that the entire workforce recognises the Government’s contributions to all-round development of the public service and transformation of Ekiti state as a whole and was determined to reciprocate government’s gesture through improved performance and service delivery.

Olomojobi added that the commitment to uplifting the standard of service delivery coupled with unmatched dedication to the implementation of people friendly policies has placed Ekiti state above her peers.

“As the Governor Biodun Oyebanji led administration has demonstrated commitment to phased digitization of government business in order to emplace probity and efficient service delivery, all hands must be on deck to rededicate ourselves to result oriented service delivery in the new year” she said.

While appreciating the efforts of labour Unions whom she described as partners in progress, with the attendant result of fostering an excellent working relationship, the Head of service canvassed for continued support for the government and synergy from all and sundry to ensure the overall success of the present administration.
