All is now set for Mr Sanmi Falobi is set to celebrate his 50th birthday with lecture, as the likes of Mr Femi Adesina, the immediate past Special Adviser, Media and Publicity to former President Muhammadu Buhari; Mr Lanre Arogundade, the Executive Director of the International Press Centre and others like Stella Ilegogie, a family life coach and the Associate Head Pastor of Lively Stones Assembly International are being expected to participate virtually at the all important event.

According to the press release made available to newsmen on Friday, the celebrant, Mr Sanmi Falobi, a renowned Non-governmental organization intrapreneur as well as media and management consultant expert, he is ready to mark a major milestone in his life as he attains the age of 50 years.

Falobi explained his preference for organizing a virtual discourse that will bring together distinguished personalities to discuss critical issues affecting Africa as a continent and the impact of globalization on African value systems rather than hosting a lavish party.

He revealed further, that the session, scheduled to hold on Monday, March 10, 2025, at 4 pm, will feature an impressive lineup of speakers, including Femi Adesina, Special Adviser, Media and Publicity to former President Muhammadu Buhari; Lanre Arogundade, media expert and Executive Director of the International Press Centre (IPC), and Stella Ilegogie, family life coach and Associate Head Pastor at Lively Stones Assembly International.

The virtual lecture is expected to be moderated by Blessing Oladunjoye, the session will also include a book review of Falobi’s latest work, titled: “Timeless Lessons from African Proverbs,” by Dr. Monday Ashibogwu. The book is a collection of African proverbs that provide guidance on human behavior and relationships, and is aimed at promoting and celebrating African values.

According to Falobi, the book is a response to the erosion of African values by westernization, globalization, and digitalization. “The core of African ideologies and value systems provides guidance on the ideals of human behavior and relationships,” he said.

“However, the effects of westernization, globalization, and digitalization have unfortunately eroded the core of what used to be the fulcrum of our values as Africans.”

The virtual discourse session promises to be a thought-provoking and insightful discussion, bringing together captains of industry from the private sector, public institutions, religious groups, political leadership, academics, and civil society to discuss key leadership attributes needed for impactful political, social, and personal productivity.
