Oyebanji’s Arch – Rival, Kayode Ojo Not Unfairly Treated – Surveyor Abiodun Aluko 

… Says He Remains Recognised Party Member

A former Deputy Governor of Ekiti State and a big stalwart in the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the State, Surveyor Abiodun Aluko has stated that the arch-rival of the incumbent Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, in person of Engineer Kayode Ojo has never been unfairly treated in the party, declaring that Kayode Ojo remains a recognised member of the party.

Surveyor Aluko, who is the current Pro-Chancellor of the University of Ilorin,  Kwara State made the above statement on Wednesday while interacting with newsmen at his residence in Ikere-Ekiti, Ekiti State. 

Speaking further during his interactions with newsmen, Surveyor Aluko called on Ekiti citizens and residents to support Governor Biodun Oyebanji’s second term re-election bid following his good governance and development efforts.

Highlighting the governor’s achievements in infrastructure development, food security, and youth empowerment, Aluko noted that Ekiti State has been rated the safest in the Southwest and praised the governor’s prudence in managing the state resources.

The veteran Surveyor expressed confidence in the APC’s chances of winning the June 20 governorship election, predicting that the party would secure at least 500,000 votes margin to beat the next person in the contest. 

He urged citizens to support the governor and the APC, saying it’s time for the party to continue its good work.

The former Deputy Governor who also explained that the APC remains the dominant party in the state said that other parties were not yet structured or organized enough to pose a significant challenge.

He also emphasized the importance of unity and consensus in the party, citing the decision to adopt a consensus approach for the upcoming elections.
