A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, Ajisope, has endorsed Bola Oyebamiji for the 2026 Osun State governorship election, describing him as capable of delivering quality governance.

Ajisope commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration for efforts to improve national security but alleged that some individuals are working to undermine those gains.

On internal party matters, he stated that all disputes arising from the APC primary election have been resolved. He reaffirmed his loyalty and that of his supporters to the APC.

He noted that a decision is yet to be reached on the party’s House of Representatives ticket.

Ajisope criticized Governor Ademola Adeleke’s administration, alleging that development projects are largely concentrated in Ede and its environs.

He rejected claims that the APC is working with the police to destabilize Osun, instead praising security agencies for maintaining law and order.

He added that increased federal allocations under President Tinubu have provided states with more resources for development. Ajisope urged Osun residents to support the APC in the August governorship election.
