EKITI: Olofin Bows Out Of Service Amidst Funfare

A staff of the National Orientation Agency, NOA, in Ekiti State, Mrs Victoria Ibukun Olofin has finally bowed out of service on Tuesday, the 11th of March, 2025 after a great moment of funfare she shared with her colleagues who took time to celebrate her exit from active service.

In a report made available to newsmen in Ado Ekiti on Thursday by Ronke Aramide, the celebrant, Mrs Olofin was said to have joined the services of the National Orientation Agency, NOA, through the defunct MAMSER in 1991 in the old Ondo State as an Office Assistant.

Mrs Olofin was said to have rose through the ranks after training herself through in-house and short courses and becoming an officer before throwing in the towel having attained the constitutional age of 60 years which is the retirement age for public servants.

During the event celebrating her exit from the Pen Profession, the Head of the PRS unit, Mr Funso Awosusi gave the opening prayer, followed by praise and worship which nearly turned into a crusade as the praises were rendered to thank God on behalf of the celebrant.

The Acting State Director, Mrs Oluwakemi Akomolede was full of praises, showering encomium on the retiring staff, analysing her good virtues and describing her as a unique, gifted and  lovely staff with no dull moment. 

Mrs Akomolede also described her as a staff who is always ready to help officially and outside office.

Pointing to her, the Acting State Director, Mrs Akomolede said, “Mrs Olofin is a true mother. She is madam no nonsense, and yet, very amiable”, she revealed. 

Other members of staff who have one good thing or the other to say about her include Aunty Blessing (as she is fondly called by everyone), though she has her own bad side too, as no one is a saint, but her good deed outweighed her flaws.

In her response, the celebrant, Mrs Ibukun Olofin appreciated the Federal  Agency for giving her the opportunity to contribute her quota to the development of the Country.

She thanked God for seeing her through the ups and downs of the public service. She also thanked her family and members of staff for supporting her throughout her service days.
