David Adesua Emerges NDC Candidate For Ekiti North Federal Rep Constituency 1 Seat  

… Promises ‘Service Upon Service’

Ayodele David-Adesua, House of Representatives candidate for Ekiti North Federal Constituency 1 and State Leader of the NDC, says the party is poised to deliver “responsible leadership anchored on competence, accountability, and service.”

Speaking with newsmen in Ado Ekiti on Friday, minutes after the conduct of the NDC consensus primaries held in Ekiti State, Apostle Ayodele David-Adesua emphasized that his readiness to serve goes beyond ordinary slogan to an ideology of “Service upon service.”

He pledged his commitment towards putting the people of Oye and Ikole Local Governments, who make up Ekiti North Constituency 1, first in every decision, policy, and project.

David-Adesua, a leader who recently defected from the ADC in Ekiti State to the National Democratic Congress (NDC), believes his move signals a shift toward pragmatic, people-first politics in the constituency. 

He says his defection was driven by a search for a platform where competence and accountability are not negotiable.  

Looking ahead to 2027, David-Adesua expressed optimism that with Peter Obi eventually emerging as the NDC flag bearer, Nigeria will experience a new direction. Most especially, one that is rooted in prudent management of the Nation’s resources; thereby ensuring equity, and genuine public service.  

“Ekiti North needs representation that listens, delivers, and stays accountable. That is the service I’m offering. And nationally, with the right leadership, this country can finally work for everyone,” David-Adesua said.
