The Chairman, Operations and Logistics, Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Women Campaign Council, PWCC, Senator Fatimat Rasaki, has expressed confidence in the upcoming polls, stating that the All Progressives Congress, APC, has put everything in place to record victory in Ekiti State.

Giving the assurance at the flags-off of Tinubu/Shettima Women Presidential door-to-door Campaign programme in Ado-Ekiti, the State Capital, the Chairman disclosed that she is personally committed to reaching out thousands of electorate for their support.

In her words, “I want to categorically state that we have put series of efforts in place at ensuring a resounding victory at the poll by next month and we are very optimistic that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu would emerge victorious at the 2023 poll.

“Parts of strategic efforts are the door-to-door mobilisation train of the Presidential Women Campaign Council where I serve as chairman, operations and logistics. We are doing all these to evangelize the message of renewed hope through sensitization programme for millions of youths, men, women and religion bodies across the country. Under this sensitization programme, we are recording huge acceptance and support and these are laudable.

“I have also made it an integral obligation to reach out to thousands of voters outside the APC card carrying members to solicit support and assurance by voting Tinubu/Shettima candidature at the next month poll. Our activities are multi-dimensionally channelled towards ensuring that the 2023 polls are not only credible, but the best in the history of our country.”

She further added that the door-to-door campaign, unlike the mass campaign rally, is a more efficient way, as its affords them the opportunity to meet the people individually, interact, and sell their candidate to them.

“As we embark on this campaign, as virtuous women,  I urge each and every one of you to approach your duties with the utmost diligence and commitment, exerting our political influence and,  against whatever  odd and obstacles we might encounter, ensure that we make it happen. This is not just a campaign for Tinubu/Shettima, but for the betterment of our country and its people.

“Together, we must work tirelessly to spread the message of hope and the renewed hope for that matter, which Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu represents. We must reach out to every nook and cranny of our nation starting from here in Ekiti State and make sure that we do everything humanly possible within our influences, to ensure every citizen knows that with Asiwaju at the helm, we can build a stronger, more prosperous, and more united Nigeria,” she stated.

The event also saw the lunch of the party’s campaign sticker, which according to the first lady would be more useful for the aged electorate; as there is a need to have a full grasp of one’s party’s emblem at the point of voting.
