2023: Navy Opens Basic Training Recruitment Portal

The Nigerian Navy has formally opened a basic training recruitment application portal for the year 2023 Nigeria Navy Basic Training School (NNBTS) for batch 35 which already commenced with effect from the 29th of March, 2023 to the 6th of May, 2023.

A statement from the office of the Permanent Secretary for Cabinet and Special Services Department, Governor’s Office, Ado-Ekiti, Mrs Oyeyemi Kayode-Ojo says “Ekiti State indigenes who are interested are enjoined to register online free of charge at www.joinnigeriannavy.com within the designated period and in compliance with the registration guidelines.

The statement added that the applicant must be a Nigerian citizen by birth and must posses a minimum of 5 credits in not more than 2 sittings obtained from  WASSCE/ NECO/ GCE/NABTEB in not later than six years from the date of application must be between the ages of 27 years by 30th September, 2023.

Moreso, applicant with ND, NCE, Registered Nurse / Mid wife qualifications as well as sportsmen and sportswomen, Imam and Chaplain, drivers and mechanics certificates must be between age 18 and 26 years by 30 September, 2023.

The release added that applicant must measure not less than 1.69 metres for male and 1.65 metres for female in height and the date for the recruitment aptitude test will be posted on the Nigeria Navy portal.
