EFCC Declares 48 Years Former Kogi Governor, Yahaya Bello Wanted For Laundering Over N80 Billion

News has just filtered in that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has declared the former Governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello Wanted over the financial recklessness perpetrated by him when he was the Governor of Kogi State.

According to the EFCC notice, the former Governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Adoza Bello’s photograph was boldly displayed on the publication notifying the public.

The EFCC in the publication, notified the public that Yahaya Adoza Bello, the former Governor of Kogi State is wanted by it, to come and explain himself in connection with an alleged case of Money Laundering to the tune of N80,246,470,089.88 (Eighty Billion, Two Hundred and Forty Six Million, Four Hundred and Seventy Thousand and Eighty Nine Naira, Eighty Eight Kobo.

The anti – graft agency revealed that Yahaya Adoza Bello, an 48 years old Ebiraman is a native of Okenne Local Government Area of Kogi State, was last seen at Number 9, Benghazi Street, Wuse Zone 4 in Abuja.
