… Warns Kidnappers To Stare Clear

The newly posted Commissioner of Police to Ekiti State, CP Akinwale Kunle  Adeniran has resumed into his new office at the Ekiti State Police Command in Ado Ekiti, with a warning to kidnappers and criminals in the State to stare clear. 

CP Adeniran gave the above message while answering questions from journalists in his office on Tuesday, immediately after the guard of honour mounted to welcome him on his first day in office.

Adeniran expressed the assurances that he will work as one with all the other security agencies in Ekiti State including the Vigilantes, Amotekun Corps and local hunters to permanently stamped out crime out of the State. 

He used the opportunity to sought for the cooperation of all the stakeholders in Ekiti State, most especially in the area of giving them relevant information that would help the Police and other sisters security agencies identify and flush out criminals and kidnappers from the State.

CP Adeniran equally advised those in possession of unauthorized fire arms in Ekiti State to politely visit Ekiti State Police Command to report themselves and hand over such weapons to the Police Authorities without any further delay. 

He vowed to go after those in possession of ammunition, urging the people of Ekiti State to report anybody or personality seeing carrying guns around or who are access to guns illegally. 

Meanwhile, a press release issued to alert the public that a new Commissioner of Police has resumed into the Ekiti State Police Command Headquarters, revealed that, the new Commissioner of Police hails from Adesiyan Village in Oluyole local government of Oyo State.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History from the prestigious University of Ibadan, Oyo State in 1986.

CP. Akinwale Kunle Adeniran mni, was enlisted into the Nigeria Police Force as Cadet Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) in 1992.

CP. Akinwale K. Adeniran mni., in his sojourn in the force, transverse Gombe, Ondo, Cross River, Benue, Taraba and Kogi States where he held different positions to the admiration of the Public where he served.

He was promoted to the rank of Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) in 2014 and posted to Calabar, Cross River State, as Area Commander. He was later redeployed to Benue State Police Command as Assistant Commissioner of Police in charge of State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department (SCIID).

He was one time Deputy Commissioner of Police in-charge of the State CID, Taraba State Command.

He was one time Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Administration Zone ‘8’ Lokoja, Kogi State.

CP. Akinwale K. Adeniran mni., was promoted to the substantive rank of Commissioner of Police on 19th September, 2022 where he was posted to Force Headquarters Abuja as CP Safer Highway and Monitoring Unit, Department of Operations, Force Headquarters, Abuja.

He was subsequently posted as the Commissioner of Police in-charge of Central Criminal Registry, Force CID Annex Alagbon, Ikoyi, Lagos State before his recent transfer as the Commissioner of Police in-charge of Ekiti State Police Command.

CP. Akinwale Kunle Adeniran mni. attended many capacity building courses, seminars and workshops in the service.
